1.) Q: What is Home Care?

A: Home care provides seniors and disabled adults with one-on-one assistance from a trained caregiver in the comfort of his or her own home. With assistance from a caregiver, seniors can live at home independently and maintain their quality of life. The personal attention they receive vastly improves their safety, health, and happiness.

2.) Q: What kind of services do you provide?

A: Lucky's Home Care provides companion care and personal care services. Our home care services are designed to help with those activities that elders and disabled adults need help with in order to be able to stay at home safely and with dignity. Our home care services may include fall prevention, medication, and fluids reminders, light housekeeping, and running errands.

3.) Q: What does the term "aging in place" mean?

A: Aging in place refers to the ability of any person to grow old in their own home or that of their family. It is the opposite of institutional residential care like a nursing home. Sometimes it may mean the ability, with extra help, to stay in an assisted living facility as well.

4.) Q: How do I start home care services with Lucky's Home Care?

A: Contact us at 724-378-7634  to find a caregiver near you. We will have our staff come to your home and conduct a free, no-obligation assessment. We will then, at your direction, identify caregivers who have the skills, personality, and availability to assist you. You will then be able to meet the caregiver, and if you approve, they will begin working for you.

5.) Q: What makes Lucky’s Home Care caregivers such as great caregivers?

A: We start by attracting and hiring the best, most experienced caregivers in the area. We screen them with the most comprehensive tests in the industry. But we don’t leave it at that. Lucky’s Home Care, LLC has developed exclusive training programs to provide seniors and disabled adults with as much support as possible.

6.) Q: What is the difference between daily care and hourly care?

A: With our daily care service, caregivers come in shifts and stay with the client around-the-clock, ready to assist with all activities of daily living and ensuring safety all hours of the day. 24/7 care provides service for those seniors who always require close supervision. Hourly care is typically provided at a minimum of four hours but is also available for more consecutive hours at a time.

7.) Q: Why is Lucky’s Home Care good for seniors?

A: Our experienced caregivers offer seniors safety, companionship, emotional support and they make sure they receive proper nutrition, they are taking the correct medication, and more. Lucky’s Home Care caregivers are highly skilled and specially trained in emotional support and fall prevention.

8.) Q: What does it mean when you say lifestyle care?

A: By remaining in their homes, seniors can maintain the lifestyle they have been accustomed to enjoying throughout their life. Keeping all their possessions and familiar surroundings, home care clients can visit the same stores, restaurants, neighbors, and parks they know and love.
